At-risk Family
Resource Information
A section of the first
floor accommodates offices and a networking hub of
information and resources for at-risk families. Staff is
trained and available to assist families in acquiring
many resources through the Ohio Benefit Bank
computerized system at the Center. The Ohio Benefit Bank
brings state and federal monies into Canton. The Center
offers voter registration and is also a Census
Assistance Center, which also brings revenue into the
city. RBN publishes a detailed resource book in response
to the diverse needs of at-risk families and directs
at-risk families to viable social service organizations.
The Center's intention is to be the networking hub of
resources, not to duplicate social services.
